School Based League
2009-10 IYBL Schedules

This is a "School Based League". Players on a team must all attend
schools from the same High School District.
Travel
teams are welcome as guest teams and are not eligible for the league title or end of the season school based tournaments. Teams play two games each Sunday. Teams made up of several grades play in the older division.
Schools not able to field a complete team may add players from other schools and play as a guest team. End of the Season Tournaments – Teams are grouped by records, 3 to 4 teams per Division.
Each Division plays a Holiday tournament style bracket. Two winners advance to the Championship and the losers play a consolation
game. Each Division champion is awarded t-shirts. Teams can play join the league at anytime – play one or any number
of weeks you want. Teams that want to play less than eight weeks are to contact Jerry Crowe to schedule those games. Players
not able to find a team.
Cost $100 Players unable to join a team may join a Blue Chip House Team. This policy is not intended
to create super teams. Their status is the same as a guest team - not part of league standings or able to win any awards. Individuals
needing to join a team should come to the call out listed below or email tommills@youthsportsandfitness.com. Cost includes 1 practice per week, coach, uniform, and IYBL league fees. We have Call Outs at the Family
Sports Center. Call Out

a score keeper will be provided to each team. IYBL
is a Fundraising Program Did
you know that over the last three years IYBL Host Site raised over $55,000 each year? Host Teams keep %100 of the
funds they collect. What a great way for the kids to raise the money they need to continue their efforts to become better
basketball players.

Four Steps to enter a team

Insurance Claim Forms
Host Site: This
is a league that can pay for itself. Host Sites are needed. Host sites can earn $500+ per
event.
Host duties: Provide
the scores by the following day. Provide
score sheets. Make copies from a score book. Not all teams will need them. Provide referees. However we will assist any host to secure referees. Provide workers for the gate and concession. Concession is
optional. Pay referees, from
the gate fees, $16 per game. Collect a gate fee of $2 for children (1st grade to senior), $4 per adult. Contact
